Syros Race is a completely new race organized by the Yacht Club of Syros, one of the oldest clubs in Greece, with the support of IRC Greece. 

The boats will be based in the harbor of Ermoupoli in Syros, an island in the middle of the Cyclades in the Aegean Sea.

Racing will be in (at least) 2 classes, IRC 1 with TCC higher than 1,055 and IRC 2 with a lower TCC limit of 0,950.  The four racing days will include windward-leeward, coastal and triangular courses and a 35nm offshore race with a scoring gate at the Super Paradise beach in the nearby island of Mykonos.

The prevailing conditions and the geography of the area are ideal and the crews will enjoy racing as well as the social and parallel events that are scheduled for every day.
